New Year's Resolution snowshoe race

Race #2 of the Sasquatch Snowshoe series was held today under sunny skies and much warmer temperures than last months race. The increase in temp's and sunshine brought out the racers, with 17 racers on the starting line today.

Rick' Basin Rally / Sasquatch Snowshoe Series

The Rick' Basin Rally Nordic race is this Saturday 17th.

The kid's will have a 2.5k race and adults can chose from 5k, 10k, or go big and do a 15k race.

Start time is 11:00am out in Rick's / Registration is 9:00-10:30 at the ski school.

Entry fee is $20, $15 if you have a season track pass and $10 for kids.

The Sasquatch Snowshoe series will be on Sunday 18th at 10:00am. The course will be a 5K loop and you can chose to do a 5K or 10K race. Registration will be on the main plaza at Targhee, from 8:30- 9:45am. Entry fee will be $20 /5K and $25/ 10K.

USSMA RANDONNEE TEAMS RACE

They're off and racing!!

The team Randonnee race was held yesterday at Grand Targhee Resort with 19 -2 person teams racing up and down the mountain. The race division course climb more than 4500' and the recreation course climbing 2500'. The race had a new course layout due to slides off the top of Peaked in the previous weeks. A new boot pack up Toilet Bowl chute added a new and difficult climb to this year course, which all the racers seem to enjoy the steeper climb, but a little shorter overall course length.
